DAT Keypoint Integrates HubTran, to Automate Freight Brokers’ Back-Office Operations

DAT Keypoint announced their integration with HubTran that enables logistics and transportation providers to automate business critical back-office processes.

PORTLAND, Ore., Nov. 28, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Transportation and logistics companies can automate up to 90 percent of the paperwork associated with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other business-critical tasks. The automation is facilitated by HubTran document management capabilities that are now integrated with the DAT Keypoint transportation management system (TMS). The integration, announced today by DAT Solutions, makes the HubTran automation available on request to DAT Keypoint customers, with no additional software or installation required.

 

HubTran uses optical character recognition and artificial intelligence to “read” incoming documents, such as bills of lading, proofs of delivery, and carrier invoices. HubTran matches these documents automatically to the corresponding customer orders and carrier rate agreements in DAT Keypoint, a TMS designed specifically for freight brokers. The matched carrier invoices are ready for aging in Keypoint, and all documents are tagged, stored and retrievable.

 

Any exceptions are flagged by HubTran, which provides a workflow for back-office personnel to resolve any outstanding issues with the carrier. Because human intervention is required on an exceptions-only basis, the integration of HubTran with Keypoint enables the freight brokerage to improve accuracy as well as productivity.
